Darrell Phillips

Land represents one the largest risks on any real estate development project. Understanding and mitigating that risk is critical to project success, which is why Remedy has its own in-house land development expert. Darrell is a registered civil engineer who oversees land due diligence activities, municipal approvals/permitting, and the civil design for all of our ground-up developments. His responsibilities include site investigation and selection, conceptual site design and estimating, selection and oversight of due diligence and civil engineering consultants, and management of municipal approvals/site permitting. Before joining Remedy, Darrell was responsible for the land development of healthcare projects nationally for Duke Realty Healthcare, where he worked for over nine years. Prior to that, he worked as a civil engineer at various consulting firms for over 19 years on healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, primary education, and municipal projects. Darrell is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
